Stripping section of azeotropic distillation column (orifice column) has serious corrosion and maintenance problems, such as maintenance difficulties, device abnormal operation. Due to the above problems, it is necessary to reform tower internals. So we put forward a new hybrid column of stripping section of structured packing. We have simulated the azeotropic distillation process by the ASPEN software. Simulation results showed that calculated data agreed with the actual operating conditions. So we can reconstruct the actual device based the results of simulation. Simulation laid a solid foundation for the design of reconstruction successfully.
