Abstract :
The effects of multiple-layer superstrates on the scattering from finite microstrip array antennas are studied. Results were obtained using the spectral-domain moment method. Use was made of a massively parallel multiple-instruction multiple-data (MIMD) microstrip array analysis FORTRAN computer program developed for hypercube architectures. The effect of the addition of a multiple-layer radome on the scattering performance of a single patch antenna is shown along with the scattering from arrays of various sizes as a function of frequency.<>
