    The topic of foreign investment has become more and more popular in recent years. The risk of foreign investment always attract people´s attention. Today, there are many domestic enterprises being abroad, as we all know, such as Lenovo Group acquired IBM Personal Computing Division, Geely Group successfully acquired Volvo. However, we should put attention on the failure cases of Shanghai Auto´s acquisition of Ssangyong Motor and China Aviation Oil Singapore´s investment in financial derivatives. When we research the opportunities by sharp vision, we should improve our immunity against risk. Therefore, the article analysis the situation of foreign investment by some cases, and learn the experience and lessons in order to provide some specific and proper preventive measures to deal with the risk of foreign investment.
