Abstract
Operating performance is directly related to the company´s benefit, so reasonable evaluation of company´s operating performance is particularly important. The operating performance evaluation of retail industry listed companies based on these companies´ financial data in 2010 with factor analysis. By analyzing all the financial indicators, it finds five common factors and builds operating performance evaluation model. After making specific operating performance evaluation of retail industry listed companies, we get the result that the profitability and solvency are the two main factors of operating performance of retail industry listed companies.
