  • Abstract
This conceptional paper list applied strategies to showcase how Renewable Energy Technologies (RETs) can be rapidly integrated to develop electricity generation and distribution infrastructure. RET´s are modular, does not require re-fueling nor take long time to be in operation and can meet electricity demand requirements at various levels and configuration if properly integrated and controlled. RET can be easily integrated in today smart grid effectively as many of the interfacing electronic circuitry are designed with high level communication capability and diagnostic features which is part of the smart grid component criteria. The presented strategies can be implemented for rural developing areas in need for electricity or could be used to support weak and existing distribution network.
