Abstract

4G mobile communication networks are expected to provide a plethora of disparate services that are IP-based for heterogeneous wireless access technologies. A major challenge in developing such heterogeneous network infrastructure is the provisioning of security for mobile users´ communication flows. In this paper we propose a Policy based Authentication System for 4G Wireless Networks that provides fool-proof authentication of next generation mobile users.
