Abstract
The authors present a theoretical analysis of dichroic multilayer structures and the experimental validation of corresponding software results. The structures under study are composed of any number of screens and dielectric sheets, without restrictive assumption on spacing and coupling between screens. These screens are composed of doubly periodic arrays of metallic resonant elements of any shape. The authors present an original method for the analysis of any multilayer dichroic structure which is based on the description of the structure with only three elementary modules. Reflection and transmission coefficients are determined by chaining the layer generalized transfer matrices.<>
