Abstract
The low-frequency response of an electodynamic loudspeaker is improved through the use of robust control techniques. The problem of shaping the low-frequency response of the loudspeaker is reformulated as the problem of tracking a desired speaker cone trajectory. A desired speaker trajectory is described, and a robust controller is formulated which provides the desired speaker cone position tracking, and thereby improves the overall low-frequency response of the loudspeaker. Simulation results are used to validate the performance of the controller
