  • Abstract
    In this paper, a new algorithm of MIMO system has been proposed by applying antenna selection into hybrid STBC-VBLAST architecture. It has been confirmed that there is an outstanding performance improvement even for simple receiver with ZF and MMSE decoder. Furthermore, in order to decrease the complexity in MIMO-OFDM systems configured with hybrid STBC-VBLAST, a simplified version of the aforementioned algorithm is proposed, which can be proved to realize antenna selection without significant performance deterioration.
