Abstract
The authors describe recent research on ISAR (inverse synthetic aperture radar) signatures of ground vehicles at UHF. The method for representing the scattering characteristics of the vehicle is reviewed, and a computer code for predicting SAR and ISAR imagery is described. Computer simulated ISAR imagery is compared to imagery obtained from measured data. It is concluded that the scattering center model and associated computer prediction code have proved to be useful and versatile methods of simulating wideband SAR and ISAR signatures at UHF (and higher) frequencies.<>
