  • Abstract
    Random access strategies have been applied to various wireless systems for a long time. Recently, the fast retrial algorithm has been proposed to improve the performance of random access in orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) system. This paper studies the performance of the OFDMA system with the fast retrial algorithm when the number of subchannels can be adjustable depending on traffics, and also the relationship between the number of subchannels and throughput of each subchannel.
