Abstract :
We developed a high power and semi-cooled 1.55-μm 43-Gbit/s EA/DFB laser and 2-km transmission was demonstrated at 45°C with +4.1-dBm fiber output power, 28% mask margin, and 14.1-dB extinction ratio for the first time.
