    Information extraction takes many forms, from marking entities by type or gathering related information about an entity, to linking entities based on some relationship between them or automatically generating database templates. This paper gives an overview of the process of extracting information from free text documents using Lockheed Martin´s NLToolset and a description of some extraction applications
