Abstract :
An optical fiber thermometer for microwave hyperthermia applications was developed. The probe head uses a standard single mode fiber with a short bend radius covered with silicone elastomer. The prototype has adequate operational characteristics for such applications: accuracy of 0.25°C, 0.1°C resolution and operational range from 20°C to 60°C
