Abstract :
Power control in CDMA cellular system is analyzed in detail in this paper. It is well known that power control plays a very important role in CDMA cellular systems. When a mobile subscriber rambles in the cell, especially when very close to the border, the realization of power control is practically based on the result of the detection of pilot signal power, rather than the distance used in the previous analyses. An investigation of this effect is made and results are given in this paper
