Abstract :
A novel classification method is proposed for radar targets, in which Gershgorin disks are utilized. It can be seen that the new method will be better than the eigenvalue method for the classification of radar targets. Three examples are considered: a spherical target, a horizontal trough, and a symmetric target.<>
