Abstract
This paper describes the implementation of a communication system that uses power lines as the channel. The system consists of an emitter/receiver with frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS), and allows data transmission at low rates. Two prototypes were built. The transmission rate was 200 Hz in a 76.2 kHz bandwidth (18.9 kHz to 95.4 kHz)
