Abstract :
An implement of demodulation for continuous phase modulation is proposed using reduced-complexity method in FPGAs. Viterbi algorithm is implemented to perform sequence correlation and maximum likelihood sequence estimate without reducing states, at the same time a parallel and serial matched filter structure to perform 4096-state correlation. Simulation of the received performance show that the proposed method has reduced complexity without deterioration of the performance.
