Abstract
Based on the network equilibrium modeling approach, a stochastic user equilibrium model with multiple classes and elastic demand is established in this paper. The equivalence and uniqueness of the equivalent variational inequality model is also proved. A correspondent algorithm is designed for the model with the searching technique of efficient routes and a numerical example is carried out by the algorithm.
