Abstract
The radiation pattern and phase center behavior of a circular corrugated horn with variable ridge widths is calculated. The field equations and the radiation patterns are based on the model method and the equivalent current sources, respectively. The phase center is determined from samples of the computed radiation patterns. When the ratio of the ridge to the slot width changes from 0.25:1 to 0.4:1, the variations of the phase center, and the radiated co- and cross-polar level of the horn at 11.7 and 14.5 GHz are tabulated for ridge width to slot width ratios of 0.25, 0.30, 0.35, and 0.40 to 1.<>
