Abstract :
In this paper, a new current mode pipelined A/D converter (ADC) based on second-generation current conveyor (CCII) is proposed. One important building block, current sample/hold circuit is constructed of CCII using zero-voltage sampling technique. Simulation results show that the power dissipation of the analog part is only 5mW at the conversion rate of 100MS/s with 1 power supply when the input signal frequency is 2MHz.
