Abstract :
The presentation will report on the use of two large-scale optical network test-beds, The Janet Aurora test-bed in the UK and the Phosphorus test-bed in Europe as open innovation platforms aiming to bring together different network and non-network research communities in an experimentally-driven interdisciplinary research environment.
