Abstract
Presently the industry in Poland is more energy consuming than that of the most developed European countries (EU-15). According to the last available data from the European Commission (2010), the intensity ratio for Poland is almost twice as much as average in Europe. Thus, it is inevitable to set up an efficient strategy that will solve that complex problem and will be directly referenced to the European directive as well as Polish legislation (Act on energy efficiency). The proposed concept is designed for the part of energy sector that deals with distribution and supply of energy as well as for customers - energy receivers. The proposal covers technical and organisational actions, because only such approach guarantees success. Especially paper give some information about new generation of lighting, elaborated calculations confirm the assumed proposals.
