Abstract
This paper presents a straightforward application of well known techniques, the discrete iterative mapping for the voltage-mode controlled forward converter, which describes the relationship between the inductor current and the capacitor voltage. Based on the discrete iterative mapping, the numerical experiment is conducted and the bifurcation charts are demonstrated with the load resistor, the reference voltage, the input voltage as bifurcation parameters. This paper includes numerical results obtained with the iteration of the proposed map and shows the nonlinear behavior of the forward converter by means of this discrete iterative mapping. And also there are some studies of the nonlinear dynamics and stability of the forward converter.
