Abstract :
The authors present a method based on an integral representation of the field that allows the determination of the induced currents on a perfectly conducting wire placed inside a rectangular cavity. The latter is coupled to an incident plane wave through a small aperture in its wall. The wire is parallel to the generating line of the cavity. Experimental results obtained at the Centre d´Etudes de Gramat (CEG) are in good agreement with numerical ones.<>
