Abstract
The presence of a filler inside a polymeric matrix strongly influences the conduction mechanisms. In this paper the results of a computer program are presented concerning the simulation of the electrical transport in a composite material in which the filler is a good conductor. Different models are considered for the charge injection and capture/release mechanisms in the bulk of the material. Numerical results concerning the external current, the space charge and electric field distribution are discussed and compared with available experimental data
