On a speech synthesis method for fairy tale narration with parent´s voice color

We propose new speech synthesis method which is applied to fairy tale narration with parent´s voice color with the feelings of human emotions rather than the existing simple, mechanical style of fairy tale narration, and select the appropriate synthesis method. For the synthesis method, we choose the pitch alteration method with a zero-crossing unit to control the prosody by performing the pitch alteration in waveform coding for preserving the high quality.
