Abstract :
In the paper a detection method of high resistance earth fault in medium voltage network, based on wavelet criterion, was presented. Specific features of high resistance earth fault were discussed and protection model to detection of such faults were presented. Examples of fault detection with very high fault resistance about one hundred kilo-ohms were included.
