Abstract
The broadcasting industry is investing heavily in new technology. Techniques for designing systems that include computer based equipment need to be developed, as the current methodologies are showing some weaknesses in anticipating problems in the new environments. These techniques should identify potential problems, across the whole programme making process and deliver ideas for reducing the problems before crises arise. This paper discusses two such techniques and relates them to practical experiences within Post Production and Graphic Design at the BBC
