Abstract
Adaptive unavailable plant output estimation is introduced by the method presented. As distinct from conventional observers, exclusive convergence to a designated unavailable output is intrinsic in the method. Output estimates derived with the method described can be used in adaptive controllers as if they were actual plant outputs enabling a controller to remain fully adaptive. The method imposes some requirements that limit its applicability to a particular set of nonlinear systems
