Abstract
A new method of estimating software cost based on an application of the Choquet integral is given. This is a form of multicriteria decision-making where the numeric value computed by the Choquet integral is an expression of the degree of preference of one technology over another in developing a software system. In effect, the Choquet integral provides an aggregative measure of subjective evaluations of the influence of various technologies on software development. The approach to cost estimation model described in this paper is a refinement of Albrecht´s function points model
