Abstract :
A microcomputer based, cost effective, distributed simulation environment (DYNASIM) is developed. The environment allows simulation of intelligent dynamic systems with real time I/O support. The paper describes the available features of the developed environment. The communication protocol implemented to allow the integration of different distributed hardware and software systems is explained. Applications demonstrating salient features and capabilities of the developed environment are discussed
