Abstract
This paper presents a method using motor vibration signal spectrums and applying the extension method for discriminating different types of motor rotor malfunctions. Firstly, this paper establishes an extension model for motor rotor malfunction types and spectrum characteristics based on the test data of motor rotor malfunctions, employing it as a basis for extension theory and using extension engineering methods to perform malfunction analysis. Finally, some simulations and experimental results are used to test the feasibility of the presented motor rotor malfunction diagnosis method.
