Abstract :
A method is presented for determining the strength and orientation of current sources lying on the epicardium from the magnetocardiographic data. The effect of data noise and original source location on the resultant source localization is investigated. A variety of techniques are used to reduce the sensitivity of the solution to noise particularly for deeper sources. A projection scheme is discussed which produces a 2-dimensional display of the 3-dimensional epicardial solution
