Abstract
The paper presents an optical technique for realizing tera-hertz (THz) spatially scanning device that is to be used in short range highly resolved inspection systems in security and microwave photonic applications. The suggested approach proposes generation of directionally tunable THz radiation with controllable frequency using two waves mixing process in a non linear optical medium.
