Abstract :
T. Itoh´s spectral domain immitance approach (see IEEE Trans. Antennas & Propag., vol.AP-29, no.1, p.63-8, 1981) is used to study the dispersion characteristics of a double-layered open microstrip structure. The method of moments is used to determine the propagation constant and the current distribution on the strip. A numerical analysis is presented. Particular emphasis is placed on the choice of adequate expansion functions for the problem.<>
