Abstract :
With the rapid development of wireless communications techniques, the wireless location techniques have been applied widely. The error measurement of the system is the key factor to improve the precision of wireless location system. The measurement algorithms of location error, such as geometric dilution of precision algorithm, mean square deviation algorithm and circle error probability algorithm, were analyzed in the work. The main factors influencing the location error such as multi-path effect, non-line-of-sight propagation and multiple access interference were introduced. The methods to reduce the location error with the algorithms of time delay estimation of anti-multipath interference were compared. According to how to eliminate the effect of NLOS and improve the location precision, several feasible methods have been presented in the work. At last, the method to cut down the multiple access interference and improve the location precision was discussed.
