Abstract
The production of the regret theory and the influence on decision-making were analyzed. The concept of relative regret and absolute regret of satellite town´s traveler were defined, and the expressions correspond to the relative regret and absolute regret also was defined. The relative regret was introduced to the Logit model of travel choice, and was computed by an example. The paper believed that the drivers are not always choose the links which has the least travel time, but choose the links based on considering the relative regret and utility. The paper also implied that we should consider the behavior of link choice based on relative regret in the condition of combine travel information and multi-attributes in further study.
