Abstract
The authors describe a step toward the simplified construction of arrays of dual-feed patches by using a coplanar waveguide (CPW) as the feed line. It is noted that the dual-feed patch fed by a CPW retains properties that are useful in series-fed arrays. The CPW dual-feed patch is well matched to the line. Coupling to the line is controllable by choice of dimensions in wavelengths. Unidirectional azimuthal patterns are possible.<>
