Abstract
This paper introduces network structure of series hybrid electric vehicle and the principle how it works. According to CANopen protocol and functions of powertrain controller, a preliminary version of CANopen profile for the powertrain controller is drafted out. And then a CANopen slave stack, based on the PowerPC and eCos, is designed and implemented for the powertrain controller of the BJUT_SHEV (Series Hybrid Electric Vehicle of Beijing University of Technology).
