Abstract :
In this paper, we will discuss the impact of virtual instrumentation (VI) approach both for teaching and research. Two case studies are introduced: First, the teaching experience at the graduate school of Aoyama Gakuin University, Second, the student paper contest organized by National Instruments, Japan. We summarized the results by using numerical data of survey results and research papers to measure the impact of virtual instrumentation.
