Abstract
The design and experimental validation of a dual-coverage shaped single reflector antenna system using one feed for each beam are described. The design specifically relates to the European feeder link antenna (EFLA) for the European Data Relay System (DRS) satellite. The work described involves the electrical design and the comparison of the measurements conducted on a breadboard of such an antenna with the theoretical predictions. The agreement between theoretical predictions and measured data for a single offset reflector shaped simultaneously for two coverages validates the design procedure.<>
