Abstract :
Asymptotic expressions of the far field of the 3-P distribution are presented. Based on these asymptotic expressions the far-angle behavior of the 3-P distribution can be characterized quantitatively with high accuracy. Also presented is an example of the realization of 3-P distribution by geometrical-optics shaping of dual-reflector antennas.<>
