Abstract :
Compared to textual languages, visual languages often hold a different set of characteristics and constraints in syntax and semantics. This paper discusses some of the constraints and their implications on the semantics specification of visual language primitives. The discussion is presented in a context of designing a visual language for constructing and animating geometric objects
