Abstract
There have been many developments and applications of the Popov criterion. This paper generalises the version of the multivariable Popov criterion presented by Moore and Anderson (1968), extending the range of systems for which stability can be proved. The new generalisation is compared with more contemporary presentations of the Popov criterion
