The impact of working in Partially Distributed Teams in a Web design course

This paper describes the participation of students of a Web design course in a CE degree in a project of international Partially Distributed Teams. The project brings together teams formed by two co-located groups of two different Universities that collaborate through an online platform to accomplish an assignment on requirements specification. Multidisciplinarity, internationality and distribution are three basic features of these working teams. In this paper we will analyze what this experience has meant to some CE students in a Spanish University. In particular we will analyze their opinions and compare their outcomes with those of the students who didn´t take part in it to understand which skills might be improved by means of this kind of collaborative activity.
