Abstract :
To support the nations public sector probe and drug discovery programs, in this paper, we develop a chemical biology data visualization system based on our designed Molecular Libraries Biological Database (MLBD) that tackles the limitations of the primary data repository on PubChem website. We highlight our system´s capability of responding to multiple queries simultaneously and providing a direct comparison of their results. Our proposed first-of-its-kind chemical biology data grid (CBDG) can federate a large set of chemical biology databases and visualize the response at a large scale. This facilitates users´ analysis and further biclustering task. Moreover, our database can create an extended CDBG whose profile presents AIDs not only related to user query but also related to CID candidates. We show that the extended CDBG has the same query time complexity as the basic CBDG. Finally, we implement the interface with Java Tree-view visualization tool and demonstrate the system.
