Abstract :
Given the open environment where sensor nodes are deployed, securing network programming is a challenging and important issue. Existing work addressing this issue either lacks the consideration on efficient or is not cost-efficient or dissemination-efficient. In this paper, we propose a novel scheme to disseminate code updates securely and efficiently. This scheme detects malicious nodes within the system, reduce computing overhead by message specific puzzles and improve dissemination efficiency by rateless code. The analysis shows that our scheme has lower computing overhead and higher dissemination efficiency.
