Abstract
A new method of orthogonal adaptive projection succeeded by an adaptive filtering for ECG signal processing is introduced. This approach was developed to cancel random noises such as electrode noise, electronic noise, motion artefacts and EMG signals. Furthermore, an adaptive technique was applied by Thakor (1991) and Provaznik (1994), and multidimensional adaptive filtering technique was applied successfully for the mains interference and EMG elimination (Bensadoun, 1995). This technique was evaluated by using real cardiac signals recorded on four channels, by an array of four small surface electrode pairs
