Abstract :
A learning and teaching methodology is implemented, in a Mechanical Engineering course that comprises several distributed learning and assessed activities that make use of active and collaborative learning as well as peer review and assessment. A company Learning Management System (LMS) is used to promote peer learning and continuous assessment throughout the course. Pedagogy assumes a key role although technology is always present through the LMS usage, content availability and mandatory online assignments.
